The brokerage highlighted ABB’s strong growth prospects and strategic positioning in high-demand sectors.
In its latest annual report, ABB India emphasized expansion into high-growth segments, deeper penetration into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and the development of innovative products. Motilal Oswal noted that ABB’s 50% exposure to high and moderate-growth sectors, such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive, power distribution, water, electronics, and data centers, positions it ahead of peers. These sectors are expected to attract steady investments despite global geopolitical uncertainties.
The brokerage also praised ABB’s robust margin control through cost efficiencies, which should cushion any potential gross margin pressures. Additionally, ABB is increasingly favored by group companies for exports, enhancing its global competitiveness.
