Adani Enterprises Shares Gain 2% After Q4 Profit Jumps Over Sevenfold

Shares of

ADANIENT
Enterprises rose over 2% in early trade on Friday after the company reported a massive 7.5x surge in net profit for the fourth quarter of FY25, buoyed by a significant one-time gain and robust performance in its core sectors. The company posted a Q4 net profit of ₹3,845 crore, sharply up from ₹450.58 crore in the same period last year. A major contributor to this spike was a ₹3,286 crore gain from the sale of its stake in Adani Wilmar, the group's consumer goods joint venture. Even after excluding this one-time gain, adjusted profit stood at ₹1,313 crore, highlighting operational strength in its solar manufacturing and airport businesses. The stellar performance comes amid a broader recovery in the group’s infrastructure-led businesses and signals strong momentum across key verticals. The market reacted positively to the earnings, with Adani Enterprises’ stock climbing over 2% on the NSE. This Q4 print strengthens investor confidence in the Adani Group’s flagship company, which has increasingly focused on next-generation infrastructure, including green energy, transport, and logistics. As the group continues to pare debt and realign its portfolio, analysts view this performance as a sign of sustainable earnings growth going forward.
