k Leyland, and Eicher Motors experienced significant gains, with shares rising up to 4%, fueled by robust sales growth. Investors reacted positively to the strong sales numbers reported by these companies, indicating healthy demand and market share gains. Conversely, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto, and Hero MotoCorp faced downward pressure due to weaker sales figures, leading to subdued stock performance. Separately, RailTel Corporation of India, despite securing substantial orders from South Central Railway, including a recent consortium win of over ₹56 crore and another order worth ₹111 crore for signaling and telecommunication works, is trading near its 52 week low. The company had reported a nearly 5% increase in quarterly net profit in December 2024, but the stock is currently trading significantly below its 52-week high.
