Bharat Electronics Shares Surge on ₹593 Crore IAF Contract

onics (BEL) shares experienced a boost after securing a ₹593.22 crore contract with the Indian Air Force (IAF) for maintenance services of the Akash Missile System. This contract adds to BEL's strong order book, which recently saw ₹5,000 crore worth of negotiated orders.   The company reported a 16% turnover growth in FY 2024-25, reaching approximately ₹23,000 crore, including $106 million in export sales. In March, BEL also secured substantial orders for Ashwini Radars from the IAF, totaling ₹2,463 crore, and additional orders worth ₹2,805 crore.   BEL's stock has seen a 28% increase over the past year. It reached a 52-week high of ₹340.35 on July 10, 2024, and a low of ₹218.30 on April 4, 2024. Currently, the stock trades 16.82% below its high and 29.68% above its low, with a market capitalization of ₹206,939.84 crore
