BIKAJI
Shares of Bikaji Foods International snapped a two-day losing streak on Wednesday, surging nearly 7% to close higher after the company’s leadership reaffirmed its sales and volume growth targets for FY27.
The stock climbed as much as 10% intraday to Rs 607.50 on the NSE before settling with solid gains. The rebound came after Chief Operating Officer Manoj Verma maintained the company’s guidance of mid-teens revenue growth and 10-11% volume expansion in the fiscal year ending March 2027.
Verma pointed to strong festive demand and continued momentum in e-commerce as key drivers expected to support volume growth. However, he cautioned that profit margins could narrow by 100-150 basis points due to rising raw material costs. Edible oil prices and crude-linked packaging expenses are projected to push overall input costs up by 6-7% year-on-year. The company has so far been able to pass on only about 4.5-5% of these increases to consumers.#StockInNews#WatchOutFor
