Shares of Ceigall India rose more than 2% on Friday after the infrastructure firm secured a significant order worth Rs 225 crore in Himachal Pradesh.
The stock was trading around 1.92% higher at Rs 318.80 on the National Stock Exchange by late morning, having earlier touched gains of 2.27%. The rally followed the company’s announcement of a Letter of Award from the Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation.
The contract covers the development of the Bulk Drug Park at Una. Awarded on an item-rate basis, the project has an 18-month execution timeline. Scope of work under Phase I includes formation cutting, construction of internal roads, storm water drains, a bridge, and fencing.
The order strengthens Ceigall India’s infrastructure portfolio and broadens its geographic and sectoral footprint. Managing Director Ramneek Sehgal described the win as an important milestone, noting that the expanding order book across diverse regions and segments reflects confidence in the company’s execution capabilities.
The project will create essential infrastructure—road connectivity, drainage systems, and bridge works—for a strategically important industrial ecosystem in the state. The development is expected to support the growth of the bulk drug manufacturing sector in Himachal Prade#StockInNews#WatchOutFor
