CMPDI Reports 32% Dip in Q4 Net Profit Amid Rising Operational Costs

ia, saw its shares tumble 4% following a sharp 32% year-on-year decline in its Q4 net profit. The company reported a net profit of ₹188 crore for the quarter ending March, down from ₹277 crore in the same period last year. While revenue from operations showed a healthy 11% growth, climbing to ₹827 crore, the bottom line was heavily pressured by surging overheads. Total expenses spiked nearly 42%, reaching ₹589 crore compared to ₹415 crore in the previous year. This significant jump in expenditure ultimately offset the revenue gains, leading to cautious sentiment among investors as the market reacted to the margin squeeze.
