ameen, a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC), has announced a stellar performance in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, marked by its highest-ever Q1 disbursements and strong business momentum. The company added nearly 2 lakh new borrowers during the quarter, reflecting its expanding reach and operational strength.
The NBFC reported a healthy quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth of 3.1% in its gross loan portfolio (GLP) on a pre-write-off basis, while maintaining strict adherence to Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN) guardrails. The gross loan portfolio stood at Rs 26,055 crore, registering a modest year-on-year (YoY) increase of 0.4%. This figure accounts for write-offs amounting to Rs 693 crore during the period.
In addition to robust portfolio growth, CreditAccess Grameen demonstrated improved asset quality. The Portfolio at Risk (PAR) 0+ days declined to 5.9% in Q1 FY26, down from 6.9% in Q4 FY25, signaling better risk management and enhanced repayment trends.
