Havells India Shares Drop 7% Post Q3 FY26 Results Amid Profit Miss on Estimates

a Ltd. shares plunged more than 7% on January 20, 2026, closing at Rs 1,344.90 on the BSE, as investors reacted to the company's Q3 FY26 (October-December 2025) standalone results that fell short of some market expectations on the bottom line despite solid revenue growth. The consumer electricals major reported a standalone net profit of Rs 301.36 crore for the quarter, reflecting a 6.6% YoY increase from Rs 282.81 crore in Q3 FY25. However, this represented a 5% QoQ decline from Rs 317.48 crore in Q2 FY26. On a consolidated basis, net profit rose 7.9% YoY to Rs 300.05 crore from Rs 277.96 crore. Revenue from operations grew strongly by 14.2% YoY to Rs 5,573.44 crore (standalone) or 14.3% to Rs 5,587.89 crore (consolidated), driven primarily by robust performance in the cables and wires segment (up around 33% in some reports), along with gains in other areas like solar products. EBITDA expanded impressively by 21.4% YoY to Rs 524 crore, highlighting operating leverage from higher volumes and disciplined cost management.
