HEROMOTOCO
oCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has announced a significant price reduction across its two-wheeler lineup, effective September 22, 2025. The company will pass on the full benefits of the next-generation GST 2.0 reforms to customers, with price cuts of up to ₹16,000 on select models. This move aims to enhance affordability and accessibility, particularly for rural and semi-urban consumers. Price Reductions and Model Impact The price cuts, which include a notable reduction of ₹15,743 on the Karizma 210 (ex-showroom Delhi), apply to popular models such as the Splendor+, Glamour, Xtreme range, and scooters like the Xoom, Destini, and Pleasure+. By lowering prices, Hero MotoCorp seeks to make its diverse portfolio of motorcycles and scooters more accessible to a broader customer base, reinforcing its dominance in India’s two-wheeler market. Boosting Mobility and Economic Growth Vikram Kasbekar, Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp, emphasized the significance of the GST 2.0 reforms, stating, “These reforms will boost consumption, empower GDP growth, and accelerate India’s journey to a $5 trillion economy.” He highlighted that over half of Indian households rely on two-wheelers for daily mobility, making affordability critical for mass transportation. “By passing on the full GST benefit to our customers, we reaffirm our commitment to enabling mobility, empowering families, and supporting the vision of ‘Make in India’,” Kasbekar added.
