Hindustan Copper's Matanjkhand Project Achieves Record Ore Production in FY25

n Copper Limited (HCL) has reported a significant milestone for its flagship Matanjkhand Copper Project (MCP) in Madhya Pradesh, achieving record-breaking ore production in the fiscal year 2025. The MCP, a key contributor to HCL's overall output, surpassed its annual ore production target, achieving a remarkable 27.25 lakh tonnes. This represents the highest-ever yearly ore production since the project's inception, exceeding the annual target by 103%.   Key highlights of the MCP's performance in FY25 include: Record Ore Production: The project achieved an unprecedented 27.25 lakh tonnes of ore production, exceeding the annual target by 3%. Ore Processing: MCP processed 24.34 lakh tonnes of copper ore during the fiscal year, achieving 97% of the annual target. Metal in Concentrate (MIC) Production: The annual Metal in Concentrate (MIC) production reached 19,270 tonnes. This strong performance at the Matanjkhand Copper Project signifies HCL's operational efficiency and its ability to maximize output from its key assets.
