Hitachi Energy India shares surge 8% on robust Q1 results

Shares of $POWERINDIA gy India jumped nearly 8% on Monday, emerging as the top midcap gainer, after the company reported strong June-quarter earnings. Consolidated net profit more than doubled to ₹294.2 crore, while revenue rose 68.6% year-on-year to ₹2,493.7 crore, beating estimates. Order inflows stood at ₹5,096.5 crore, taking the order backlog to a record ₹32,222 crore. Brokerages remain bullish, citing India’s transmission investment boom, grid modernisation, renewable energy integration and rising data-centre demand as key long-term growth drivers. Jefferies retained its Buy rating with a target of ₹45,790, highlighting strong earnings momentum and robust order flows.
