ICICI Bank Reports Strong Q4FY25 Performance: Net Profit Jumps 18% on Robust NII Growth

k, the country's second-largest private sector lender, today announced a robust financial performance for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025. The bank reported an impressive 18% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its net profit after tax (PAT), reaching ₹12,630 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. This strong bottom-line growth was supported by an 11% YoY increase in net interest income (NII), which stood at ₹21,193 crore during the same period.   The bank also witnessed an improvement in its net interest margin (NIM), which rose to 4.41% in Q4FY25, up from 4.25% in the preceding quarter (Q3FY25) and slightly higher than the 4.40% recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q4FY24). For the entire fiscal year FY25, ICICI Bank's NIM stood at a healthy 4.32%.   On the deposits front, ICICI Bank demonstrated strong growth. Total period-end deposits expanded by 14% YoY to reach ₹16.10 lakh crore as of March 31, 2025. The average deposits for Q4FY25 also saw a significant increase of 11.4% YoY, amounting to ₹14.86 lakh crore. The bank maintained a healthy average CASA (current and savings account) ratio of 38.4% during the reported quarter.   ICICI Bank's lending operations also showed positive momentum. The domestic loan portfolio witnessed a substantial expansion of 13.9% YoY, reaching nearly ₹13.11 lakh crore. Notably, the retail loan portfolio grew by 8.9% YoY and 2% sequentially, constituting a significant 52.4% of the bank's total loan portfolio as of March 31, 2025.   T
