Indo-MIM Shares Surge to 10% Upper Circuit After Robust Q1 Performance

INDOMIM
Indo-MIM Ltd locked at the 10% upper circuit on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, as investors cheered the company’s strong June-quarter results, its first earnings report since listing. The stock touched levels near ₹952–₹953, marking a fresh high and reflecting continued enthusiasm for the newly listed precision-components maker. For the April–June quarter of FY27, Indo-MIM reported consolidated net profit after tax of ₹240 crore, a 31.6% year-on-year rise from ₹182 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations grew 9.3–9.4% to approximately ₹1,219 crore from ₹1,114 crore. Total expenses rose only modestly, helped by an 11% decline in raw-material costs, which supported healthier margins. The company, one of the world’s largest metal-injection-moulding players with facilities across India, the US, UK and Mexico, serves automotive, medical, defence, industrial and consumer segments. Its July 2026 IPO had already delivered substantial gains for allottee investors; Tuesday’s rally further extended those returns. Market participants viewed the combination of steady topline growth, tighter cost control and improved profitability as a positive signal for the firm’s operating leverage going forward. Trading volumes remained elevated as the stock hit its upper price band early in the session.
