Inox Wind Shares Surge 6% After Rs 175 Crore Stake Sale in EPC Subsidiary

nd Ltd. rallied 6% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) following the announcement of a Rs 175 crore stake sale in its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) subsidiary, Inox Renewable Services Ltd. (IRSL), previously known as Resco Global Wind Services.
Financial Performance Highlights
In the first quarter of FY25, Inox Wind reported a robust 29.2% year-on-year revenue growth, reaching Rs 826.3 crore compared to Rs 639.6 crore in the same period last year. The company’s EBITDA margin also improved, climbing to 22.2% from 21.1% a year earlier, reflecting enhanced operational efficiency. However, a deferred tax charge of Rs 40 crore, stemming from the reversal of previously recognized deferred tax assets, slightly offset these gains.
IRSL, the EPC subsidiary, contributed Rs 217.98 crore to Inox Wind’s consolidated revenue in FY25, accounting for approximately 6% of the total.
