IREDA Share Price Dips After Q1 FY26 Results
On July 11, 2025, shares of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency ( IREDA ) fell 6.25% intraday on BSE, opening at Rs 159.05, after reporting a 36% year-on-year decline in Q1 FY26 net profit to Rs 247 crore. The profit drop was driven by a 60% surge in expenses, reaching Rs 1,655 crore from Rs 1,034.96 crore, with financing costs rising to Rs 1,218 crore and impairment on financial instruments at Rs 363 crore. Despite the profit decline, IREDA's loan book grew to Rs 79,941 crore from Rs 63,207 crore, with loan sanctions up to Rs 11,740 crore and disbursements at Rs 6,980 crore. The company's net worth also increased to Rs 12,042 crore from Rs 9,110 crore in FY25.
