r Vysya Bank has announced a robust financial performance for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25, reporting a net profit of Rs 513 crore. This represents a significant increase of nearly 12.55 percent compared to the Rs 456 crore net profit recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The bank's Net Interest Income (NII) also saw a healthy growth, reaching Rs 1,089 crore in Q4 FY25, a 9 percent rise from Rs 997.94 crore reported in Q4 FY24. However, the Net Interest Margin (NIM) experienced a slight decline, falling to 4.05 percent.
A key highlight of the bank's performance is the continued improvement in its asset quality. The net Non-Performing Asset (NPA) margin dropped by 20 basis points (bps) year-on-year to 0.20 percent. Similarly, the gross NPA margin significantly decreased by 64 bps year-on-year, reaching 0.76 percent. This indicates effective management of bad loans and a strengthened financial position for the lender.
Overall, Karur Vysya Bank's Q4 FY25 results demonstrate strong growth in profitability and core earnings, coupled with notable improvements in asset quality, despite a marginal dip in net interest margin.#StockInNews#WatchOutFor#FundamentalViews
