LIC Housing Finance Q1 FY26: PAT Rises 5% to ₹1,360 Crore

sing Finance reported a 5% increase in standalone profit after tax (PAT) for Q1 FY26, reaching ₹1,359.92 crore, compared to ₹1,300.21 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income grew by 6.62% to ₹7,233.14 crore from ₹6,783.69 crore, driven by a rise in interest income to ₹7,113.06 crore from ₹6,739.13 crore. The company's loan portfolio expanded by 7% to ₹3,09,587 crore, with individual home loans increasing by 7% to ₹2,62,411 crore. Total disbursements rose by 2% to ₹13,116 crore, including ₹11,247 crore in individual home loans, up 3% year-on-year. Asset quality improved, with gross non-performing assets (GNPA) dropping to 2.62% from 3.29% and net non-performing assets (NNPA) falling to 1.30% from 1.68% year-on-year. On the stock market, LIC Housing Finance shares fell 2.85% to close at ₹568.90 on Friday, with an intraday range of ₹562.95 to ₹586.90. The stock’s 52-week high was ₹778.50 (August 2024), and its 52-week low was ₹483.50 (March 3, 2025). The company, part of the BSE 500 index, has a market capitalization of ₹31,293.08 crore.
