ng Finance announced a significant 25.4% year-on-year increase in its standalone net profit for the fourth quarter of FY25, reaching ₹1,368 crore compared to ₹1,090.8 crore in the same period last year.
Despite the strong profit growth, the company's net interest income (NII) saw a slight decline of 3.2%, falling to ₹2,166.4 crore from ₹2,237.6 crore in Q4FY24.
A key factor contributing to the higher profit was a sharp reduction in impairment on financial instruments, which decreased significantly to ₹109.4 crore in Q4FY25 from ₹427.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
These results highlight a mixed performance for LIC Housing Finance in the fourth quarter, with strong bottom-line growth driven by lower impairments offsetting a marginal decrease in net interest income.#WatchOutFor#StockInNews#Budget2025
