NBCC Shares Decline Over 11% in Five Sessions Despite Strong Q3 Results

(India) Ltd, a Navratna public sector undertaking (PSU), has seen its shares trade in the red for five consecutive sessions, falling over 11% despite reporting a robust 25% year-on-year increase in net profit for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year 2024-25 (FY25). The stock dropped over 1% on February 12, trading at Rs 84.45 per share amid a broader market downturn. Strong Q3 Performance The company announced its Q3 results on February 11, post-market hours, revealing a net profit of Rs 138 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024. This marks a significant 25% rise compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year. Revenue from operations also saw a healthy increase, climbing nearly 17% to Rs 2,827 crore from Rs 2,424 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24.
