PC Jeweller Shares Climb Up to 6% as Company Nears Debt-Free Status

ler rose as much as 6% on Wednesday after the company announced it has repaid all outstanding dues to two consortium banks, bringing it closer to achieving a debt-free status this quarter (July-September 2026).
In an exchange filing, the jewellery retailer highlighted that it has reduced its outstanding bank debt by over 90% since the September 2024 settlement agreement. This marks a major milestone in its turnaround journey.
The company recently reported a strong ~21% year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue for Q1 FY27, supported by robust consumer demand. For FY26, net profit rose to ₹714.46 crore from ₹577.70 crore, with total income climbing to ₹3,549.58 crore.
Managing Director Balram Garg noted that becoming debt-free will enable aggressive expansion, including plans to open up to 100 large-format franchise showrooms over the next 12-18 months.
