Polunin Capital Partners Trims Over 0.5% Stake in Capacite Infraprojects via Open Market Sale

London-based investment firm Polunin Capital Partners has reduced its exposure in Mumbai-listed construction company

CAPACITE
aprojects by selling more than half a percent stake through open market transactions on Monday, March 16, 2026. Polunin Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund, an alternate investment fund managed by the firm, offloaded 4.31 lakh shares — equivalent to 0.51% of the company's paid-up equity capital. The shares were sold at an average price of ₹182.74 per share, generating a total consideration of approximately ₹7.9 crore. Prior to this transaction, Polunin Capital Partners held a 1.61% stake in Capacite Infraprojects as of December 31, 2025. Following the sale, the fund's holding now stands reduced to around 1.10%. The development comes amid weakness in the stock. Capacite Infraprojects shares declined 4.5% to close at ₹180.28 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 16, marking the fourth straight session of losses. The stock hit an intraday low of ₹180.00 during the session. This partial exit by the foreign investor could reflect profit booking or portfolio rebalancing, even as India's construction and infrastructure sector continues to enjoy strong tailwinds from government spending. Capacite Infraprojects, which focuses on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects in residential, commercial, and institutional segments, has a market capitalisation of around ₹1,706 crore and trades at a relatively modest price-to-earnings multiple.
