Shares of
POLYCAB
ia Ltd rebounded sharply today, climbing up to 4.15% to an intraday high of ₹7,417 on the NSE, ending a six-session decline following the release of impressive third-quarter results.
The leading wires and cables manufacturer reported a strong performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), with consolidated revenue surging 46% year-on-year to approximately ₹7,640 crore (from ₹5,230 crore in Q3 FY25). Consolidated net profit rose 35-36% YoY to around ₹620 crore (some reports cite higher figures amid varying standalone/consolidated breakdowns, with strong operating leverage noted).
The standout growth was driven by the core cables and wires (C&W) segment, which saw volumes jump around 40% YoY, fueled by market share gains, robust private capex, housing demand recovery, government infrastructure push, and channel restocking amid rising copper prices. Domestic C&W revenues grew significantly (up to 54-59% in some analyst breakdowns), while FMEG (fast-moving electrical goods) showed positive momentum with profitability improvements.
