Premier Energies shares in focus after strong Q1 results
PREMIERENE rgies shares are set to remain in focus after the company posted robust June-quarter results. Net profit surged 50.4% year-on-year to ₹463.1 crore, while revenue from operations rose 35.3% to ₹2,462.6 crore. EBITDA climbed 30.3% to ₹714.4 crore, though the margin eased slightly to 29% from 30.1% a year earlier.
The board also approved the reappointment of Chairman and Whole-time Director Surenderpal Singh Saluja and Managing Director Chiranjeev Singh Saluja for another five-year term starting December 19, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, it cleared plans to seek approval at the AGM on September 21 for raising up to ₹5,000 crore via QIP or other securities.
