RCF Shares Surge 3% on FPO and Land Monetisation Plans

Shares of state-owned fertiliser major

RCF
emicals and Fertilizers (RCF) climbed nearly 3% on July 8, trading around ₹134.73, after the company announced plans to raise up to ₹1,500 crore through a Follow-on Public Offer (FPO) of fresh equity shares. The Board approved the fundraise, subject to approvals from shareholders, the Department of Fertilisers, and DIPAM. The capital will likely support expansion, modernisation, and operational growth. Additionally, RCF plans to monetise its substantial land bank through leasing, licensing, REITs, or InvITs to unlock value from its immovable assets. The company manufactures urea, complex fertilisers, bio-fertilisers, micro-nutrients, water-soluble fertilisers, and industrial chemicals from its Trombay and Thal facilities.
