Renewable Energy Stocks Cool Off After Sharp Rally; Solex, Borosil, Inox Wind Among Top Losers

Renewable energy shares in India pulled back sharply on March 13, 2026, a day after a strong sector-wide rally, as profit booking and broader market weakness took hold. The Sensex shed around 670 points (0.9%) to 75,365, while the Nifty fell 234 points to 23,405 by mid-session, with declining stocks far outnumbering gainers. Despite the correction, select green energy names held firm amid sustained long-term optimism around India’s renewable capacity expansion targets.
