RIL Announces First Dividend Post-Bonus Issue for FY2025

stries Ltd (RIL) is set to distribute its first dividend since the 1:1 bonus issue in October 2024. The company has declared a final dividend of Rs 5.50 per share, representing a 55% payout on shares with a Rs 10 face value, as announced in its Q4 FY2025 results. Today, August 14, 2025, marks the record date for determining eligible shareholders, with investors needing to have purchased shares by August 13 to qualify. Trades from today onward will not carry dividend benefits. The dividend will be paid within a week following RIL’s 48th Annual General Meeting, scheduled for August 29, 2025, via video conferencing. This follows RIL’s stellar performance, reporting a record-breaking quarterly profit of Rs 26,994 crore for Q1 FY2026, a 78.3% surge year-on-year, with revenue up 5.26% to Rs 2.48 lakh crore. Last year, RIL paid a Rs 10 dividend pre-bonus, and Rs 9 in 2023 post the Jio Financial Services demerger.
