SBI Q3 FY26 Results: Record Profit, Strong Asset Quality Improvement
SBIN of India delivered its highest-ever quarterly standalone net profit in Q3 FY26 (Oct-Dec 2025), rising 24.5% YoY to ₹21,028 crore from ₹16,891 crore a year ago.
Key highlights:
Net Interest Income (NII) up 9% YoY to ₹45,190 crore
Consolidated total income grew 10.6% YoY to ₹1,85,648 crore
Consolidated net profit increased ~13% to ₹21,317 crore
Gross NPA improved to 1.57% (from 1.73% in Q2FY26)
Net NPA eased to 0.39% (from 0.42% last quarter)
Healthy credit growth (~15%), better recoveries, and controlled costs drove the strong performance. SBI raised its full-year credit growth guidance to 13-15%.
