SKF India (Industrial) Lists at 3% Discount Post Demerger

Shares of the newly created

SKFINDIA
ia (Industrial) Ltd made their stock market debut today, listing at ₹2,630 on the NSE — a discount of nearly 3% from the discovered price. The listing follows the successful demerger of SKF India’s automotive and industrial businesses, a move first approved by the board in Q4 2024 and effective from October 1, 2025. Eligible shareholders received one share of SKF India (Industrial) for every share held in the erstwhile SKF India. The separation creates two pure-play entities: SKF Industrial, focused on bearings and solutions for manufacturing, railways, renewables, and infrastructure; and SKF Automotive, targeting electric vehicles, premium two-wheelers, and commercial mobility. Managing Director Mukund Vasudevan called it “a defining moment”, adding that the structure will help both companies capitalise faster on India’s industrial and mobility growth stories while improving capital allocation and innovation focus. In early trade, SKF India (Industrial) shares were trading marginally lower.
