Sun Pharma Shares Under Pressure Amidst US Revenue Dip and Cautious FY26 Outlook

SUNPHARMA
aceutical Industries, India's leading drugmaker, saw its shares decline today following the release of its Q4 FY25 results, which showed a 2.5% drop in US formulation sales to $464 million. The reported net profit also fell 19% due to one-time charges related to US operations restructuring. For FY26, Sun Pharma projects a "mid-to-high single-digit" consolidated revenue growth. Despite this modest outlook, the company plans a significant $100 million investment in its US specialty drug portfolio, aiming to commercialize new products like Leqselvi (for alopecia areata) and Unloxcyt (for skin cancer). While India sales remain strong, regulatory uncertainties and pricing pressures in the US are expected to continue influencing the company's performance. Investors are evaluating whether Sun Pharma's strategic specialty investments will offset these headwinds and drive long-term growth.
