tors’ shares rose on June 10, 2025, following positive brokerage reactions to the company’s strategic reset across its electric vehicle (EV), passenger vehicle (PV), and commercial vehicle (CV) businesses, as outlined in an investor presentation on June 9. The automaker aims to boost its CV business to a 40% market share by 2027, targeting a teen-level EBITDA margin by FY26, up from its current double-digit margin. This will be driven by investments in decarbonization, connectivity solutions, and software-defined vehicles (SDVs). The company also set ambitious goals for its PV and EV segments, targeting a 10% EBITDA margin by FY30. The EV business, which achieved EBITDA breakeven in FY25, is expected to maintain profitability with a penetration target of 20% by FY27 and over 30% by FY30. Brokerages lauded the focus on margin improvement and market expansion, contributing to the stock’s upward movement on the NSE.
