$VOLTAS reported a robust 53% jump in consolidated net profit to ₹214 crore for the June quarter of FY27, up from ₹140 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations rose 19% to ₹4,673.50 crore from ₹3,938.58 crore in the same period last year. The Tata Group company also announced a joint venture with Atomberg to manufacture room air conditioner compressors and related components in India. The partnership will focus on high energy efficiency, operational reliability, cost competitiveness and progressive localisation. It brings together Voltas’ deep knowledge of the Indian RAC market, manufacturing scale and supply chain strengths with Atomberg’s proprietary compressor technology, engineering expertise and track record in energy-efficient motors and drives.
