Oswal Pumps Secures Telangana Solar Rooftop Order

has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited (TREDCL) for a large-scale rooftop solar project across government schools in Telangana. The order involves the design, supply, installation and commissioning of 2 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW on-grid solar rooftop photovoltaic (PV) power plants with an aggregate capacity of 46,705 kW across 9,937 government schools spread over 33 districts in the state. The project will utilize MONOPERC/TOPCON solar modules and includes remote monitoring systems (RMS) along with comprehensive maintenance support for five years. The installation is scheduled to be completed within 180 days from the receipt of the work order. According to the company’s regulatory filing, the total order value is approximately ₹297.50 crore, including GST. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited, and the company stated that neither its promoters nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The order also does not fall under related-party transactions. In a press release, Oswal Pumps highlighted that the project covers 46.7 MW of rooftop solar capacity and is expected to support renewable energy adoption across educational institutions in Telangana. The company noted that the project aligns with the state’s clean energy objectives while strengthening its presence in new markets. The order marks a significant addition to Oswal Pumps’ renewable energy portfolio and reinforces its participation in government-led solar infrastructure initiatives.
