’s material subsidiary, Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL), has secured a Letter of Acceptance from the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) for a sewer rehabilitation project worth approximately ₹66 crore, excluding GST. The domestic contract is scheduled to be executed within 18 months from the commencement date. The company has confirmed that neither the promoter/promoter group nor group companies have any interest in NDMC, and the contract does not constitute a related-party transaction.
Following this project win, WMEL’s current order book stands at approximately ₹2,356.66 crore. The subsidiary has added around ₹366.66 crore of orders, excluding GST and provisional sums, since June 2026, providing additional execution visibility for its water and wastewater infrastructure business.
For investors, key monitorables include project execution, order-book conversion into revenue, timely completion of the sewer rehabilitation work and further order inflows in the water infrastructure segment. The ₹66 crore project adds to WMEL’s existing order pipeline, while its financial contribution will depend on execution over the 18-month contract period.
