Skipper Secures ₹797 Crore New T&D Orders

has secured fresh orders worth ₹797 crore across domestic and international Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects, strengthening its presence in the high-voltage transmission infrastructure segment. The latest order wins include export contracts for the supply of transmission towers and monopoles for projects in Australia, along with a domestic 765 kV transmission line project awarded by a reputed Indian developer. The Australia orders are significant as they expand Skipper’s exposure to developed international markets and support its strategy of building a more diversified global T&D business. The domestic 765 kV project further reinforces the company’s capabilities in technically complex, high-voltage transmission infrastructure. Management highlighted growing traction in international markets, particularly Australia, and sees opportunities to participate in larger and more technically demanding projects. The order inflow comes against a backdrop of strong execution momentum. In Q1 FY27, Skipper reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,309.83 crore, up 4.46% YoY, while consolidated net profit increased 25.52% YoY to ₹56.81 crore. The company’s engineering business remains a key growth driver, supported by rising demand for transmission infrastructure. With the latest ₹797 crore order addition, Skipper gains further revenue visibility and strengthens its order portfolio across both Indian and overseas markets. The company’s expanding international footprint, particularly in Australia, could also help diversify its customer and geographic mix. Market reports place Skipper’s market capitalisation around ₹6,900 crore, although this figure fluctuates with the share price.
