Stylam Industries adds 60,000 TPA Laminate Capacity

is setting up a new laminate manufacturing plant at Manak Tabra-2, Panchkula, Haryana, adjoining its existing facility. The new plant will add approximately 60,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of laminate manufacturing capacity, representing a significant expansion of the company’s production capabilities. The project is part of Stylam’s broader strategy to increase manufacturing scale and cater to rising demand in both domestic and international markets. The company had earlier disclosed that the new facility would be its third laminate plant, with construction progressing as planned. The additional capacity is expected to strengthen Stylam’s ability to serve the 01 mm laminate segment, with the expansion equivalent to roughly 5.25 crore square metres of annual capacity. The project has involved substantial capital expenditure, with earlier company disclosures indicating an outlay of around ₹260 crore, while more recent reports put the overall investment at approximately ₹300 crore. The company has also indicated that the expansion was funded through internal accruals. With the existing laminate capacity stated at around 80,000 TPA, the addition of 60,000 TPA would take the combined capacity to approximately 1.40 lakh TPA, subject to full commissioning and ramp-up. The new facility should provide greater operating flexibility, support volume growth and enable Stylam to address increasing demand across its export markets. Stylam has a presence across more than 80 countries, making incremental manufacturing capacity particularly relevant for its international expansion. Commercial production at the Manak Tabra-2 facility has been reported as commencing on September 22, 2026, marking an important milestone in the company's capacity-expansion programme. The benefits to revenue and profitability, however, will depend on the pace of capacity utilisation, product mix, demand conditions and the company's ability to ramp up the new facility.
