Executive Summary Bandhan Bank reported a mixed set of numbers for Q3 FY26. Revenue & Margins: Net Revenue grew 7.8% QoQ to ₹3,379 crore. Net Interest Income (NII) stood at ₹2,689 crore, up 3.8% sequentially, though it missed analyst estimates of ₹2,720 crore. The Net Interest Margin (NIM) improved slightly to 5.9% (vs. 5.8% in Q2).
Operating Performance: Operating Profit saw a healthy double-digit growth of 10% QoQ to ₹1,445 crore, signaling improved core operational efficiency.
Business Growth & Asset Quality
Robust Deposit Franchise: Total deposits grew 11% YoY to ₹1.57 Lakh Crore. The CASA ratio stands at 27%, with retail term deposits plus CASA constituting over 72% of the total deposit base, ensuring a granular and stable liability mix.
Credit Expansion: Gross Advances rose 10% YoY to ₹1.45 Lakh Crore.
Strategic Shift: The bank is successfully pivoting towards secured lending. Secured advances grew 27% YoY, now comprising 57% of the total loan book (up from majority unsecured previously).
Segment Growth: Retail loans (ex-housing) surged 57% YoY, while Housing grew 10%.
