Investor Update: KEC International Secures Breakthrough Wind Energy Order KEC International Ltd., a premier global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) major and part of the RPG Group, has inaugurated the 2026 calendar year with a significant strategic expansion, securing new orders valued at ₹1,050 crore. Renewables Milestone: The company has bagged a project for a 100+ MW wind power plant in South India from a renowned private developer. This "Balance of Plant" (BoP) package represents a critical vertical expansion, allowing KEC to tap into the accelerating demand for hybrid and wind-based renewable infrastructure. Civil & Industrial Growth: KEC’s Civil business continues to broaden its industrial footprint, securing a major order in the Buildings & Factories (B&F) segment. This involves a downstream project in Western India for a leading global steel manufacturer, reinforcing the company’s strong relationship with existing blue-chip clients. T&D and Global Market Recovery: The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) vertical reported strong momentum in the Americas, with new orders for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles. Notably, the company’s subsidiary, SAE Towers, has secured significant tower supply contracts in Mexico, signaling a distinct uptick in North American grid infrastructure investments. Cables and Conductors: The business vertical also secured a variety of supply orders for cables and conductors across both domestic Indian markets and international territories, ensuring high asset utilization across its manufacturing facilities. Financial Position and Investor Outlook With the addition of these contracts, KEC International’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake for FY26 stands at approximately ₹19,300 crore. This robust intake provides high revenue visibility and aligns with the company’s stated objective of achieving significant double-digit growth for the fiscal year.
