LTIMindtree Q3 FY26 Earnings Analysis: Operational Resilience Amid One-Time Regulatory Impact

LTIM
Executive Summary LTIMindtree reported a mixed headline performance for Q3 FY26. While reported Net Profit saw a sharp decline due to a significant, non-recurring regulatory charge, the underlying business fundamentals remain robust. The company delivered revenue growth ahead of street estimates and demonstrated margin expansion, driven by strategic pivots into AI and sustained deal momentum. Financial Highlights Revenue Growth: The company posted a strong top-line performance with revenue standing at ₹10,781 crore, surpassing the consensus estimate of ₹10,738 crore. This represents a growth of 3.7% QoQ. In dollar terms, revenue rose 3% sequentially to $1,208 million. Profitability & Margins: EBIT stood at ₹1,737 crore, beating the poll estimate of ₹1,719 crore. Notably, the EBIT margin improved to 16.1% (up from 15.9% in Q2), signaling improved operational efficiency. The "Labour Code" Impact: The reported Net Profit of ₹959.6 crore (-30.5% QoQ) missed expectations solely due to a one-time exceptional charge related to the implementation of new labour codes. This resulted in an impact of ₹590.3 crore at the EBIT level and ₹441.8 crore at the Net Profit level. Adjusted for this one-off, profitability remains aligned with the company’s growth trajectory. Operational & Strategic Metrics Client Mining: The company continues to successfully mine top-tier accounts. The number of clients contributing $5M+ grew by 10 YoY to 162, while $10M+ clients increased by 7 to 97. Total active clients stood at 746. Human Capital: LTIMindtree remains a net creator of jobs, adding 1,511 employees this quarter, bringing the total headcount to 87,958. Supply-side pressures are easing, with Last Twelve Months (LTM) attrition dropping to 13.8% and utilization (excluding trainees) remaining healthy at 86.9%.
