NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) continues its aggressive push toward its long-term renewable energy targets, marking a new milestone in operational capacity while demonstrating robust top-line growth and expanding operational margins in the latest quarter. ​1. Capacity Expansion: Kadapa Solar Project ​NGEL has announced the commencement of commercial operations for a 158.4 MW segment of its 250 MW solar power project located in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, effective mid-February 2026. ​Project Developer: Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power Pvt Ltd (a step-down subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Pvt Ltd). ​Total Group Capacity: With this latest addition, the total installed commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group has expanded from 8,992.68 MW to 9,151.08 MW. ​Strategic Alignment: This commissioning is a critical step in NGEL's broader strategy to serve as the vanguard of parent company NTPC’s ambitious goal of achieving 60 GW of renewable capacity by FY32 through both organic and inorganic growth vectors.
