Executive Overview Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has successfully commissioned a state-of-the-art convention and exhibition facility at its Advanced Training Institute (ATI) campus in Betul, South Goa. This development marks a strategic expansion into the high-growth Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, leveraging existing land assets to generate new value streams and position Goa as a premier global hub for marquee events.
Infrastructure Highlights The newly developed complex, with a combined built-up area of approximately 39,000 square meters, features:
Convention Centre: An oval-shaped, 4,000-seat venue equipped with VVIP/VIP lounges, bilateral meeting rooms, and extensive office spaces. It is engineered to host large-scale international conferences and entertainment awards.
Exhibition Hall: A 6,669 sq. m permanent facility designed to accommodate major trade fairs and global expos.
Management Development Facility (MDF): An 8,353 sq. m structure comprising an 182-seat auditorium, conference rooms, syndicate rooms, and classrooms.
Strategic Connectivity & Logistics The facility offers superior multi-modal connectivity, ensuring seamless access for high-profile delegates and enhancing the venue's logistical viability:
Marine Access: A dedicated floating jetty connects the venue to key beachside luxury resorts within 15 minutes via ferry, bypassing road traffic.
Air Access: An on-site helipad with four parking points facilitates direct VIP arrivals.
Sustainability & ESG Alignment Aligning with global sustainability standards, the campus houses India’s largest 'behind-the-meter' 5 MW microgrid. This integrates rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations and wind turbines with an 11.128 MWh lithium-ion battery storage system. The facility also features zero-liquid-discharge systems, underscoring ONGC's commitment to responsible and green infrastructure.#FundamentalViews#Today’sTradingSetup#PersonalFinance#TimeToExit#Pre-OpeningCommentary
