The Indian Army has executed a significant contract with JBM Auto Ltd., valued at ₹130.58 crore, for the procurement of 113 electric buses and 43 fast chargers. Signed on October 17, 2025, this agreement represents the Army's inaugural large-scale adoption of electric vehicles, signalling a major strategic shift toward sustainable and green logistics.
