Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has reported a robust financial performance for the second quarter ending September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26). The company demonstrated significant year-on-year growth, driven by strong execution across its key domestic and international markets. Key Financial Highlights (Q2 FY26 vs. Q2 FY25) Consolidated Revenue: Increased 14.3% YoY to ₹3,302 crore, up from ₹2,889 crore. Net Profit (PAT): Grew substantially by 30.4% YoY to ₹591 crore, compared to ₹453 crore. EBITDA: Rose 15.3% YoY to ₹1,083 crore. EBITDA Margin: Showcased modest expansion to 32.8% from 32.5% in the prior-year period, reflecting operational efficiency. Core Business Drivers & Market Performance 1. India Business (Domestic Market) The India business, our largest revenue contributor, delivered strong 12% growth, generating ₹1,820 crore. Chronic Portfolio: This segment was a key growth engine, expanding by 13% and significantly outperforming the Indian Pharmaceutical Market (IPM), which grew at 11%. Market Leadership: Our domestic strength is further highlighted by our brand portfolio, which includes 21 brands in the IPM's top 500, and 15 brands each generating over ₹100 crore in annual sales. 2. US Business (International Growth) The US market registered exceptional momentum, with revenue rising 26% YoY to ₹337 crore ($39 million). Growth Fuel: This performance was primarily fueled by the successful execution of new product launches that secured target market shares. H1 FY26 Performance: For the first half of the fiscal year, US revenues stood at ₹646 crore, marking a 23% increase year-on-year. Summary: This quarter's results, marked by double-digit top-line growth and a 30% expansion in profitability, affirm the success of our strategic focus on key therapies and geographic diversification. The outperformance in the chronic segment domestically and the strong uptake of new launches in the US provide a solid foundation for continued growth.
