The strong performance was primarily driven by resilient demand and healthy volume growth. Key Financial Highlights (Year-over-Year) Revenue: Consolidated revenue from operations increased by 15.8% to ₹24,648 crore. Net Profit: The company posted a 17.2% growth in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹2,604 crore, which comfortably surpassed consensus estimates. Operating Profit: EBITDA expanded by 13.7% to ₹5,016 crore, highlighting steady operational execution. Margins: While the EBITDA margin experienced a slight contraction to 20.4% from 20.7% in the previous year due to elevated cost pressures, it still remained ahead of market estimates. Operational Efficiency & Volume Growth The quarter underscored UltraTech's ability to capitalize on growing demand across the infrastructure and housing sectors: Domestic Volume: Grey cement sales volume grew by 13.1% year-on-year to 39.17 million tonnes. Total consolidated volumes rose 12.2%. Profitability per Tonne: Operating EBITDA per tonne improved to ₹1,214, up from ₹1,198 in the corresponding quarter last year. Pricing: Sales realizations saw a sequential uptick of 3.7% during the quarter. Strategic Expansion Timeline Management reaffirmed that its strategic foray into the wires and cables segment is progressing according to schedule. Commercial operations are anticipated to launch by the third quarter of this fiscal year. As of June 2026, UltraTech has committed ₹888 crore toward its planned total investment outlay of ₹1,800 crore for this new business line.
