Vinati Organics Update: FY26 Outlook & Capacity Expansion

VINATIORGA
Overview Vinati Organics has outlined a robust growth roadmap for FY26, underpinned by capacity expansion in the ATBS segment and the stabilization of its subsidiary, Veeral Organics. While pricing pressure remains a factor, volume growth and backward integration are expected to drive performance. Growth Guidance: Management projects 15% volume growth for FY26. However, revenue growth is estimated at 10–12%, factoring in softer product realization. Margin Profile: Despite delivering strong operating margins of 30.4% in Q2FY26, management has maintained a conservative margin guidance of 27% to account for new market penetration and expansion costs. Operational Updates ATBS Expansion (Core Business): Phase 1: The new 10,000-tonne line has been successfully commercialized and is currently fully booked, indicating strong demand. Phase 2: Scheduled for commissioning in April–May 2026. This will increase total ATBS capacity to ~40,000 tonnes per annum (a ~25% increase). Veeral Organics (Subsidiary): The subsidiary targets ₹350–400 crore in revenue. Initial process stabilization challenges for MEHQ and Guaiacol caused delays, but commercial trial orders have now been approved, signaling a positive outlook for the upcoming fiscal year. Antioxidants Segment: Vinati is now the largest antioxidant producer in India, operating at 60% capacity utilization. The segment has achieved profitability, supported by successful backward integration into butyl phenols. Regulatory & Financial Context Regulatory Tailwind: The DGTR has recommended anti-dumping duties (ADD) on imports from China and Singapore. Final notification from the Ministry of Finance is awaited; this remains a key monitorable and a potential positive trigger. Recent Financials (Q2FY26): The company reported Revenue of ₹550 crore and PAT of ₹115 crore. Market Data: Current Market Cap is ~₹17,312 crore. The stock is trading at ~₹1,668, having corrected 6% over the last year.
