Zydus Wellness Q2FY26 Financial & Strategic Update: Revenue Rises 32%, International Expansion Secured

ZYDUSWELL
Q2FY26 Financial Highlights for Zydus Wellness Limited Revenue: The company achieved significant top-line growth, with consolidated revenue rising 32% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹650.5 crore, compared to ₹493 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. This growth was supported by healthy demand and contributions from newly acquired businesses. EBITDA: Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) grew 15% YoY to ₹23 crore from ₹20 crore. Profitability: Near-term margin pressure from elevated input costs impacted profitability. EBITDA margins contracted slightly to 3.5% from 4.0% YoY. Consequently, the company reported a widened net loss of ₹52.8 crore for the quarter, versus a net loss of ₹21 crore in Q2FY25. A pivotal milestone was achieved this quarter with the completion of the company's first overseas acquisition, Comfort Click Limited and its subsidiaries. This strategic move provides Zydus Wellness with an immediate and established footprint in key international markets, including the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the United States. Crucially, this acquisition facilitates the company's strategic entry into the high-growth Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS) category, diversifying the portfolio and opening new avenues for growth. Market Dominance: 'Sugar Free' continues its exceptional hold on the sugar substitute market with a 96.2% share. 'Everyuth' (scrubs, peel-offs) and 'Nycil' (prickly heat powder) also retained their #1 category positions. Key Holdings: 'Glucon-D' commands a 58.7% market share. 'Complan' has advanced to the #4 position in its category with a 4.1% share. Growth Drivers: 'Nutralite' delivered double-digit growth, supported by consistent volumes and successful new launches such as Nutralite Activ Peanut Butter. Innovation: The 'Max Protein' portfolio is scaling effectively, tapping into the healthy snacking trend with innovations like the Millet Wafer Protein Bars.
