$INDUSINDBK Guides for Market-Aligned Growth with 1% Exit ROA in FY27
$INDUSINDBK has outlined a measured growth strategy for FY27, aligning its expansion with the broader market while targeting an exit Return on Assets (ROA) of 1%. Management expects Net Interest Margin (NIM) to face pressure in Q2 FY27 before recovering in the second half. While NIM will be a smaller contributor to ROA in the near term, it remains a significant long-term opportunity. Over the next three years, the bank plans to reduce its overall wholesale mix, with faster growth in SME, mid-corporate, large corporate, and other retail segments. Microfinance is set for meaningful traction from Q2 FY27, supported by further slippage reduction. Vehicle finance disbursements (excluding two-wheelers) are expected to accelerate. In consumer banking, slippages are likely to decline meaningfully as the bank reaches the tail end of elevated risk from personal loans and credit cards, paving the way for a return to growth.
