Q4 net profit fell 30% to Rs 160 crore amid higher expenses, while revenue rose 7% to Rs 1,616 crore.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 229 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to a regulatory filing released on Friday, total income during the January–March quarter of FY2025-26 increased to Rs 1,616 crore from Rs 1,513 crore a year earlier. Operating expenses surged to Rs 1,389 crore compared to Rs 1,212 crore in the same period last year, impacting overall profitability. For the full financial year 2025-26, the company’s consolidated net profit declined to Rs 378 crore from Rs 437 crore in the previous fiscal. However, annual total income rose significantly to Rs 6,308 crore, up from Rs 5,504 crore in FY2024-25. Investment in securities market are subject to market risks.
