Closing Bell: Markets halt three-session winning streak; Nifty slips below 25,350, Sensex declines 388 pts.
BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices finished largely unchanged. Sector-wise, consumer durables, media, auto, FMCG, and IT dropped 0.4–0.6%, whereas power and PSU banks advanced around 1% each.

Indian benchmarks closed in the red on September 19, with the Nifty ending under the 25,350 mark. At the close, the Sensex slipped 387.73 points, or 0.47%, to 82,626.23, while the Nifty shed 96.55 points, or 0.38%, to finish at 25,327.05.
