Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) remained marginal net sellers in the cash market, selling equities worth ₹17.86 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) continued their strong buying streak with net purchases of ₹4,013.60 crore, lending support to market sentiment. In the derivatives segment, FIIs were net buyers in Index Futures (₹2,253.84 crore) and Stock Futures (₹242.33 crore). On the other hand, they were net sellers in Index Options (₹1,231.85 crore) and Stock Options (₹173.58 crore). Despite mixed institutional flows, the benchmark indices ended in positive territory. The Sensex climbed 373.76 points (0.48%) to close at 78,954.76, while the Nifty 50 advanced 11.35 points (0.10%) to settle at 24,636.00.
